Walmart Marketplace image basics
Walmart Marketplace asks for square product images large enough for zoom, and many sellers export them at about 2000 × 2000 px. The main image should show the product on a white background, filling most of the frame, without added text, watermarks, or promotional graphics. Walmart publishes detailed image guidelines in Seller Center, and those are the final reference for your category.
Images that are too small, cropped awkwardly, or on a coloured background are common reasons for content quality issues, which can affect how a listing is shown.
Framing the main image
Crop so the product fills most of the square with a thin, even white margin. If the product is much wider or taller than it is deep, use the fit option so the whole product stays in frame and the empty space is filled with white. Check that nothing important, such as a cap, cable, or handle, touches the edge.
Additional images
Use the remaining image slots to show other angles, close-ups of materials and features, the product in use, its size relative to a common object, and what is included. Keep every image for a listing the same square size so the image carousel and zoom behave consistently.
Selling the same product on several marketplaces
Walmart, Amazon, and many other marketplaces use similar square, white-background main images, so the same photography can usually serve all of them. Add your photos here once and select each marketplace's size to export a full set in one ZIP. Check each marketplace's current rules before publishing, because details such as minimum size and file limits differ.
